Cortney Ronk

Audit Supervisor

Cortney Ronk has been with Penn State and the Office of Internal Audit since January 2017 and currently serves in the role of Audit Supervisor. She supervises and performs assurance and consulting engagements, as well as special investigations. She focuses on sponsored research related audits, however, performs and supervises engagements on a wide variety of other topics.

Prior to her career at Penn State, Cortney worked at KPMG. Cortney received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the Penn State Smeal College of Business. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Internally, she has completed the Penn State Emerging Leaders Program, ACES (Penn State Certified Research Administrator), and the ACOR (Administrative Council on Research) Fellows Program. She also holds a certificate in Financial Management from the Society of Research Administrators International.
